ABOUT BAND

RAYA – The word ‘RAYA’ is derived from a Bulgarian word which translates to heaven. This is also a unique name for the band, as it is an acronym for all our names.

"RAYA" was just a college band. But this year, we had the opportunity to show case our talents at different events such as Euphony and Meraki. This gave us a chance to reach a larger audience base. We at RAYA, believe that we have this amazing opportunity to do something we love and are passionate about. Working together also has been a journey in itself. We will continue to make music and to enjoy the ride.
