Qissa – The Band is a Folk Rock / Indi Rock band from the city beautiful itself – Chandigarh. The band focuses on reviving the old folk music of Punjab. Hand in hand, it also believes in experimenting with different genres of music.

The thing that makes Qissa – The Band unique and sets them apart from other bands is the strict music arrangements which include a fusion of old folk instruments and modern day instruments. Qissa – The Band is proud to be the only band in the region in which one can listen to combinations like Sarangi – guitar, or Tumbi – guitar … all live. 

 

Qissa – The Band believes that ‘real music is what feelings sound like’ thus, the music being played must have a soul.
